Disabilities Ministry
by Noah Graves
Disabilities Ministry Page | We live in a complex world. Raising the next generation to own their faith has never been more challenging—or more necessary. Yet, in the Scriptures, we see three institutions that God created: The Family, The Church, and the Nation—but the family is the foundation of society.
At MBC, one of our core values is building strong families. One of the ways we do this is by equipping parents and their children to navigate the difficult issues of the day. This page is for you. Below you will find some suggested resources to help you answer the most pressing issues of the day. Don’t see something? Ask us a question below!
MBC Kids Philosophy of Discipleship | We are passionate about discipleship. This resource was written to explain how we aim to lay the foundation for kids to grow in God’s Word while they are a part of our MBC Kids ministry. Download this document for more on our philosophy.

Ministering to Those with Disabilities
Check out this video that overviews the heart behind our “Upside Down Glory” ministry at MBC
I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom: preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. As for you, always be sober-minded, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.
We are offering childcare during the meeting as needed. Must register by March 12th please.
Wednesday, March 15, 7pm, In-Person Only
Our Annual Business Meeting is an important time for our church as we celebrate all that God is doing at MBC and plan for the exciting year ahead.
This year’s Annual Business Meeting will be conducted in-person in our Sanctuary on Wednesday, March 16, at 7pm.
Members will be emailed instructions on how to login to the ABM portal. This is the same web portal we used last year. You’ll need your username and password. There is a “forgot password” feature, in case you forgot.
We encourage all members to login prior to the meeting so that you can watch Pastor Bob’s pre-meeting instructions video as well as familiarize yourself with the Annual Business Meeting portal.
Most importantly, your participation is essential to this meeting’s success. According to our constitution, first we need 20% of active voting members to attend the meeting to constitute a quorum. Second, of those attending, we need a simple majority vote to both approve the annual operating budget and to elect members to the Board of Elders. Please make every effort to attend and vote.

Cultivating the Christian Life: Firmly Planted
by Noah Graves
Leaders: Andrew Strain, MBC Elder & Amy Huber, Director of Discipleship and Connections
This course is the first track in a three-track series which lays out the essential foundation for MBC’s discipleship journey. Like a seed planted in good soil, spiritual life begins by anchoring ourselves firmly in the truth of the Gospel. Designed as a community small group, this track will be highly practical in nature as participants learn to plant their feet on solid theological ground and embrace the seed of the Gospel daily as the source of life and transformation.
From there, roots begin to grow deeper. We address the heart, not just behavior, learning to identify the root issues beneath our struggles and to understand our new identity in Christ. Rather than pursuing quick fixes or surface change, this track cultivates honest repentance, renewed thinking, and confidence in who we are and whose we are.
By the end of Track 1, participants will be grounded in Gospel truth, rooted in love, and established in a biblical understanding of spiritual growth. This is where stability forms, where faith deepens, and where real transformation begins beneath the surface ($25 Cultivating the Christian Life Workbook is recommended but not required).
Class will be on Sundays at 10:45am for four consecutive weeks beginning March 15 through April 12 (except for Easter Sunday) in YFMB 204.

Easter Sunday 2026
by Noah Graves
April 5th, 2026 at 8am & 9:30am & 11am
He Is Risen! This Easter Sunday, we gather to celebrate the greatest victory in history—the resurrection of Jesus Christ. His triumph over sin and death is the foundation of our faith and the source of our eternal hope.
The empty tomb is more than proof of Christ’s power over death; it is an invitation to new life. Paul declares that we have been given the ministry of reconciliation (v. 18), called to share the good news that God no longer counts our sins against us because of Jesus. In a world filled with brokenness, this message of reconciliation and renewal is more needed than ever.
As we celebrate Christ’s resurrection today, let us reflect on what it means to be a “new creation.” What areas of our lives need His renewing power? How can we live as ambassadors of His grace, proclaiming the victory of the risen King?
This Easter, may we rejoice in the hope we have in Christ, embrace our identity as God’s redeemed people, and proclaim with confidence: He is risen indeed!

Good Friday 2026
by Noah Graves
April 3rd, 2026 at 7pm
Join us this Good Friday as we gather to remember the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross. On this solemn night, we reflect on the weight of His suffering, the depth of His love, and the power of His final words: “It is finished” (John 19:30).
The cross is where our salvation was won. Jesus, the innocent Lamb of God, took upon Himself the sin of the world, bearing the punishment we deserved so that we might be reconciled to God. Though darkness covered the earth, and hope seemed lost, we know that this was not the end of the story.
This service will be a time of remembrance as we remember Christ’s ultimate act of love. Let us gather in reverence and gratitude, preparing our hearts for the joy that is to come on Easter morning.
Come, and behold the Lamb who was slain for us.
