Guest Speaker: Dr. Jim Owen, PSY.D
Out of nowhere death, illness, unemployment or a difficult relationship can change our lives and challenge everything we thought we knew — leaving us feeling unable to cope. Sometimes life just hurts and we suffer.
Christian Clinical Psychologist, Dr. Jim Owen, PSY.D, will show us how we can embrace the steps toward hope and healing, and introduce coping tools so that we can develop a sustainable hope in the Lord during hard times or even suffering caused by tragedies like 9/11 or the current pandemic.
The event will be held in the Sanctuary at MBC from 9:00am-12:00pm.
Breakfast will be provided and childcare is available.
Why am I suffering like this? What do I do?
How can I handle this? Where can I find comfort?
How is my suffering affecting my loved ones?
Registration is required. Please register your attendance and any childcare needs.
