Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization. Their mission is to provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ. They ship these simple gifts outside the United States to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease.
At MBC, we love to participate in OCC! Boxes and brochures are available in the foyer. Drop off boxes at MBC by November 15, and be sure to enclose a $10 donation for each box. You can write 1 check to cover all the boxes you submit, or donate online and check Follow Your Box to track it to its recipient(s). For more info or ideas on packing a shoe box, check out their website here
Collection date is Sunday, November 15.
Contact Lenore Tosi with any questions.

In a culture built on shifting sand, Contend ’27 calls believers back to the bedrock — laying foundations in our families, our children’s worldview, and the broader work of cultural renewal.
“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.”
The Contend Conference exists to equip believers to contend for the faith once for all delivered to the saints (Jude 3) — with biblical clarity, practical tools, and courageous conviction.
Conference Themes
Name where culture and compromise have crept into our assumptions.
Give families and churches biblical tools for the questions they’re actually facing.
Help kids and teens think biblically and engage culture with confidence.
Point every session back to the good news of Jesus Christ.
From Friday’s opening to Sunday’s services, each session builds on the last — why foundations matter, what the cultural context looks like, how to build at home, and where it all points.

Men’s Breakfast Relaunch:
Saturday, June 3rd from 8:00 am – 9:30 am, Fellowship Hall
Fathers and sons!
We’re excited to be relaunching our Men’s Ministry Breakfast time on June 3rd. Come hear from our panel of Mentors from our Radical Mentoring Ministry.
Radical Mentoring is a special type of men’s small group made up of high-potential young men facilitated by more senior and mature men. The vision is to help younger men live God-centered lives and fulfill their God-given potential.
The mentors will endeavor to share what they have learned about success and failure. Most importantly, they will share what it means to have a vibrant, living relationship with Jesus along the way.
Join us for breakfast and a meaningful time of sharing. For more information contact Craig McLaughlin or Pete Lima or call the church office at 908-647-0594.
Romans speaks to our deepest struggles—doubt, pride, fear, and guilt—and leads us to God’s grace. Written for ordinary people, it offers real hope for real life.
In this study, discover how the God who saves also transforms, moving us from striving to surrender, from fear to faith, and from guilt to grace..
Questions? Contact: John Drew, Men’s Class Administrator, or Priya Mamidi, Women’s Class Administrator.
Women will meet in the YFMB (Youth & Family Ministry Building). Men are in the Sanctuary.
