Operation Christmas Child 2026

Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization. Their mission is to provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ. They ship these simple gifts outside the United States to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease.

At MBC, we love to participate in OCC! Boxes and brochures are available in the foyer. Drop off boxes at MBC by November 15, and be sure to enclose a $10 donation for each box. You can write 1 check to cover all the boxes you submit, or donate online and check Follow Your Box to track it to its recipient(s). For more info or ideas on packing a shoe box, check out their website here

Trunk or Treat 2026

Join us for a family-friendly afternoon of activities! 

Saturday, October 24, 3pm-5pm

VIP access for children with special needs, 2:30pm

REGISTRATION COMING SOON for our family-friendly Trunk or Treat! Kids enjoy an afternoon full of “trunk”-or-treating, snacks, crafts and, of course, lots of candy!  Pull out your costumes and prepare your trunks and join in this fun event! Invite your neighbor or anyone with small children to share fun and community with us!

Soon: We’ll begin collecting candy for this event!

Street Hope Alive Collection: We’ll be collecting gently used WINTER COATS (only winter), HOODIES, GLOVES and HATS for kids and teens for our local ministry partner, Street Hope Alive. Please consider donating these items at our Trunk or Treat event. There will be a donation area in the YFMB. Thank you!

Equipping believers to contend for truth and resist cultural drift.

In a culture built on shifting sand, Contend ’27 calls believers back to the bedrock — laying foundations in our families, our children’s worldview, and the broader work of cultural renewal.

The Contend Conference exists to equip believers to contend for the faith once for all delivered to the saints (Jude 3) — with biblical clarity, practical tools, and courageous conviction.

Walk Thru the Bible – New Testament

On Saturday 4/24 from 9am – 12pm we have a special offering for all kids ages K-6th called “Walk Thru the Bible: New Testament”. This is a great opportunity for kids to learn about the entire New Testament in just one day. Check out the video below to learn more!

Men’s BBQ – Remembering 9/11

What: Men, please join us for our next Men’s Ministry event Remembering 9/11 – 25 years later. A BBQ grilled dinner and a 9/11 Reflection from Craig McLaughlin who experienced 9/11 in NYC personally. Craig will share a testimony of his experience and what the Lord taught him through that situation. 7:00 – 9:00pm Friday, 9/11 downstairs in the Fellowship Hall (Doors open at 6:30pm). All men are welcome.

We’re excited to be relaunching our Men’s Ministry Breakfast time on June 3rd. Come hear from our panel of Mentors from our Radical Mentoring Ministry.

Radical Mentoring is a special type of men’s small group made up of high-potential young men facilitated by more senior and mature men. The vision is to help younger men live God-centered lives and fulfill their God-given potential.

The mentors will endeavor to share what they have learned about success and failure. Most importantly, they will share what it means to have a vibrant, living relationship with Jesus along the way.
