Passion Conference 2025

Atlanta, GA, January 2-4, 2024

MBC is inviting young adults (ages 18-25, post-HS) to the Passion Conference in Atlanta, Georgia which will take place January 2nd-4th. Come experience a life-transforming conference of worship, messages, and community together with your fellow young adults. Reserve your seat today!

The cost will vary depending on the number of people attending (estimated $200-$400), and there will be a $50 non-refundable deposit. The final cost will be determined once amount of attendees is finalized. Cost includes flight, event ticket, hotel, and rides All attendees will fly to Atlanta together and stay in a hotel near the conference arena. Register by May 28th, 2024.

From its start in 1995, the Passion movement has a singular mission—calling students and leaders from campuses across the nation and cities around the world to live for what matters most. For us, what matters most is the name and renown of Jesus. We believe in this generation and are watching God use them to change the climate of faith around the globe.

This wave is growing into a global awakening living for the name of Jesus. Join the movement.

We are excited to announce the Millington Baptist Church (MBC) Internship Program! Our desire is to equip leaders to succeed in all facets of church ministry. The MBC Internship Program will provide interns with hands-on ministry experience, as well as intentional leadership training and development for one of our ministry seasons.

Internships are available for the follow terms:

Summer Session (May- August)
Fall Session (September- December)
Winter/Spring Session (January- April)

Specific start and end dates will be discussed with you during the interview process. Longer internships are available based on availability.

If you are ready to proceed, you may download and complete the application, and forward to Pastor Bob Erbig. You will then be connected with the appropriate MLT Member for an interview and next steps.

Young Adults (Ages 18-30)

Young adults ages 18-30 are invited to go deeper in their relationship with God and with each other as we navigate this exciting and complex life stage together. We will engage in topical cultural discussions through thought-provoking messages, serving opportunities, and time in prayer that aims to develop a strong community of believers. Plus, did we mention there will be food? Come join us!

Johnny Graves’ also leads a group that meets twice a month on Sunday nights at 5pm

The next Men’s Breakfast in the Fellowship Hall Cafe:

Men’s Ministry provides opportunities for men from MBC and the surrounding community to connect, grow in their faith, discover ways to partner in ministry, and give back to others. Are you looking for a place to connect with other men while discovering God’s Word together?

In the past the men have met for Men’s Breakfast on Saturday mornings once a quarter. But now there we will be SO MUCH MORE…guessing the word “pickleball” may be mentioned.

The Men’s Ministry is inviting all men at MBC and their sons to a night of games, food, and fellowship. Join us on Friday June 14th at 6:00pm for outdoor games and activities at the YFMB. Dinner will be provided.

Come rain or shine. In the event of bad weather we will utilize the YFMB basement for ping pong, air hockey and foosball.

The Men’s Ministry is calling all MBC men and their sons to join us on Saturday, March 9^th at 8:00am in Fellowship Hall for a time of fellowship, worship, and encouragement at our next Men’s Ministry breakfast.

It has been said that two of the greatest proofs for the truth of Scripture and Christianity are the number of fulfilled prophecies we see in Scripture and the power of God to change lives. At our upcoming breakfast we will have the opportunity to hear from two of our brothers in the Lord and witness how God pursued them and restored them into a relationship with Jesus Christ. Our brother Amit Nihilani will be sharing the testimony of God’s grace and mercy in their lives.

Your presence will also be an encouragement to the men from Market Street Mission who will also be joining us for this breakfast.

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday March 9^th.

Where can men, husbands, and fathers find a model of manhood, leadership, and strength in a culture of gender confusion? We need men to be men, tough with compassionate strength, bent toward justice without compromise, locking arms and standing. We need to be the men God created us to be; warriors for all that is right, true, and just.

Stand Courageous is a ministry that seeks to help men develop a strong biblical character, cultivate positive habits, build and rebuild relationships, and make commitments that will move men closer to God’s good purpose and design – men who will Stand Courageous!

We invite you to join us at a Stand Courageous Men’s Conference to discuss critical aspects of masculinity. These conferences are led by men who struggle with the same issues you do, and will invest in unpacking our role as a defender, provider, instructor, and battle buddy so that we can have the generational influence as a “chaplain” inside and outside the home.
