Thank You for your support!
Introducing our new Podcast that focuses on conversations at the intersection of faith, culture and politics. Come to the underground with us and step into the tension as we discuss various topics in the form of pastoral commentary and culturally relevant interviews featuring guest professionals specializing within the topic of discussion. The Underground is not a place where everyone agrees. But a space where respectful dialog can happen, difficult topics addressed, and ultimately where Christ is exalted.
Everyone can benefit from an evening at the Underground. Also check out our bi-annual live Underground Sessions. Signup to our E-news and “like” our Social media outlets to stay tuned to our up and coming events.
We are very excited to roll out our new MBC app!
The Church isn’t a building – it’s people! We want to make sure that everyone can experience the MBC community and stay connected whenever they want.
Our app will expand the way we connect with both new individuals checking us out and those who call MBC their home. Its primary features keep you connected with information and personalized notifications to our various ministries, Sunday morning Live Stream, sermon archives, our podcast, giving access, and up-to-date information on our community activities and events. As a bonus, we also added the Bible for your convenience during the sermons or whenever you desire to connect with the Word of God.
There are three ways to get our app:
1. From your cell phone, text: “mbcnj app” to (833) 683-6726 and a link for direct download will be immediately sent;
2. Or search for Millington Baptist Church on or .
3. On your computer, you can go here to get the app sent to your phone.
Once you download it, please go to your app store and leave a great review to help others find it easier.
If you have attended our church for any period of time, then you know our mission is to expand the table for the glory of God and to be fully devoted to Christ, our church body and the community around us. This app is merely a small expression of our desire to make those connections and grow the body of Christ.
Stay tuned as new features will be added over time.

To this end, MBC encourages meeting in small groups to support each other and grow together in faith.

“You might think that Scripture doesn’t have much to say about the food you make for breakfast, how you view your postpartum body, or what school choice you make for your children, but a deeper look reveals that the Bible provides the framework for finding answers to your specific questions about modern motherhood.” – Risen Motherhood

Successfully used by thousands of Spiritual Formation Group participants, A Spiritual Formation Workbook has been completely revised to correlate with Richard J. Foster’s “Streams of Living Water.” Its new and updated exercises and teachings offer fresh perspectives on Christian faith and practice.

A special thank you to all those who provide meals for the Shepherd’s Freezer. If you take a container, please take the time to make a meal and return it to the freezer as soon as possible so that we may continue to bless those in our congregation. Contact the Care Leadership Team with any questions.
Bear one another’s burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2
Sometimes health and other difficult circumstances make it hard to keep up with life’s demands. If you are able please contribute to the Shepherd’s Freezer in the basement kitchen. If this is a time of life when you need a little help please help yourself to meals from the freezer. If you have any questions please reach out to Jacquelyne Wright.

Serve with The Relief Bus
The Relief Bus (www.reliefbus.org) consists of two former school buses now customized into mobile resource centers to help the poor and homeless. Friendly faces serve up food and love demonstrating genuine care. This allows volunteers to discover other needs and then connect people to resources and faith-based programs which often transform lives and in many cases actually save lives.
The Relief Bus provides a first step to freedom and new life for those in great need. Volunteers from MBC help prepare the food and then go out on the Relief Bus to Newark, Harlem, and the Bronx on a regular basis – either monthly or more often.
MBC will serve on the Relief bus on the first Friday of the month.
Email Dave Springer or text him at 908-331-0569.
Senior Luncheon
MBC Senior Luncheon provides a time of food, fun and fellowship to seniors within our church and neighboring communities once a month.
Join us on Friday, April 19
MBC member Kathy Wilford will talk about the fascinating history behind her book Cabby Potts, Duchess of Dirt and give a glimpse into the publication process.

MBC Kids Care Packages, 2018
NY City Relief converted two school buses into mobile outreach centers that go directly to those who are most vulnerable, lonely, and hurting to provide a meal, new socks, toiletries, and connections to resources that offer a way out. Week after week, rain or shine, the Relief Bus throws a party on the sidewalk for anyone and everyone with a very simple message:
