Join us on Sunday, October 5th from 5pm to 8pm as we dive deep into the culturally relevant topic of “Answering God’s Call to Justice”. We’ll be joined by both Monique Duson and Krista Bontrager from the Center for Biblical Unity.
Our culture throws around the phrase “social justice” a lot these days. Some Christians even say that “social justice” is a synonym for the gospel itself, and that if you don’t advocate for this kind of justice, you aren’t even a legitimate Christ-follower. Theologian Krista Bontrager offers a biblical alternative to such emotion-charged arguments and accusations. In this talk, she examines what the word “justice” actually means from a biblical point of view and considers how God’s people should advocate for “justice” on a practical level.
