Leaders: Andrew Strain, MBC Elder & Amy Huber, Director of Discipleship and Connections with contact information
This course is the first track in a three-track series which lays out the essential foundation for MBC’s discipleship journey. Like a seed planted in good soil, spiritual life begins by anchoring ourselves firmly in the truth of the Gospel. Designed as a community small group, this track will be highly practical in nature as participants learn to plant their feet on solid theological ground and embrace the seed of the Gospel daily as the source of life and transformation.
From there, roots begin to grow deeper. We address the heart, not just behavior, learning to identify the root issues beneath our struggles and to understand our new identity in Christ. Rather than pursuing quick fixes or surface change, this track cultivates honest repentance, renewed thinking, and confidence in who we are and whose we are.
By the end of Track 1, participants will be grounded in Gospel truth, rooted in love, and established in a biblical understanding of spiritual growth. This is where stability forms, where faith deepens, and where real transformation begins beneath the surface.
Class will be on Sundays at 10:45am for four consecutive weeks beginning March 15 through April 12 (except for Easter Sunday) in YFMB 204.
