We NEED you!  The MBC Finance Team is growing and looking for new members. 

Play a vital role in stewarding Millington Baptist Church’s resources, ensuring fiscal responsibility, and aligning financial decisions with our mission and vision.

What is the MBC Finance Team

The MBC Finance team exists to provide for volunteer led oversight and direction of the stewardship of the financial and material resources of Millington Baptist Church (MBC), under the overall leadership of the Board of Elders.

A church finance team is essential for a church to faithfully steward its resources. Our team is committed to fiscally responsible budgeting, monitoring, and guiding how our church funds are spent that align with our overall mission, vision, and strategy. Church Finance Team duties and responsibilities include Giving Projections, Budget Review, Opex and Capex Funding Approvals, Facility Management, Financial Reporting, Risk Management and Safeguarding Church Assets. Our Finance team meets once a month to discuss the financial business matters of the church. (Other meetings throughout the course of the year occur as necessary.)  
How do I Get Involved?  
  • Step One: Apply Now. Tell us about yourself. Fill out our online application (HERE) to serve on the MBC finance team. (Note: MBC Church membership commitment is required)
  • Step Two: Meet to discuss. Once you fill out the application, a finance team member will reach out to you to further discuss the skills and talents you will bring to the finance team to see if this is a good match.  
  • Step Three: Join the team. Your name will be brought before the board for final approval.
