Jesus told us, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few” (Luke 10:2, NIV). At MBC, we believe every single follower of Jesus has been given a spiritual gift and should be equipped to serve in the body of Christ. (1 Cor 12:7) Your gifts are needed more than ever in this season of our church.
We want to help you leverage your God-given abilities to make a difference and find fulfillment as we labor together in God’s harvest field. Check out these serving opportunities and click the “Join the Crew” link for more information about your particular area of interest.

Welcome to the Underground
Welcome to the online web portal for our virtual Underground Sessions event, “What About Race? A Conversation on Social and Biblical Justice.” If you are new with us, Underground Sessions is a live forum we hold several times a year where we discuss challenging and relevant issues in our world today. We do this with a spirit of grace and compassion while maintaining biblical faithfulness. Our events feature culturally relevant interviews with guest professionals specializing within the topic of discussion. Our chosen topics are often controversial. As such, we expect there will be aspects of disagreement. This is a good thing, as we hope we learn to disagree well. As you explore this web portal, we invite you to step into the tension as we create a space where respectful dialogue can happen, difficult topics addressed, and ultimately where Christ is exalted.
At this event, we are partnering with The Colson Center to highlight their “Colson Fellows” program. People who enroll in this program will learn that the Gospel isn’t a formula you apply to your life; it’s the Story you’re meant to inhabit. Colson Fellows take a deep dive into the Christian worldview and become the kind of believer who understands how creation, fall, redemption, and restoration all go together to form the only true Story of the world. And then live it here and now. The program is a ten-month course that takes you on a carefully curated journey to understanding the times and knowing what to do in community with like-minded people.
You can find more information at their website: https://colsonfellows.org/our-why/
