Breaking down barriers. Day 4.

For many, the language barrier of not knowing Spanish has been a challenge. Today, we were able to witness how we can break those barriers. We traveled to Nizao to help out with the sports ministry- where we were amazed to see 300 kids come out! We played baseball, basketball, and volleyball all while painting their faces, nails, and applying tattoos. Fun transcends every language barrier- we can witness with our smiles and actions. This realization has given us confidence to continue to minister this week. Truly a blessing to be able serve and have fun with all these wonderful kids.

In the morning, we went directly to the HOH school. We took on some renovation projects (the electrical project taken on by Chris Dowden and Luke Williams throughout the entire day!) to make some improvements to the school. This was followed by a delicious lunch made for us before we headed out to the sports ministry.

We all came together and put our handprints on the schools wall along the many other hands to show all the others that have come from other churches and schools to bless this area. Amazing to see the big C Church’s impact here.

We can’t wait to see what barriers the Lord will break down next. Your prayers for us on this trip are being answered. Keep going before the Lord for us!
