Latest Happenings at MBC

Ten years ago, DiscipleMakers set out on an ambitious goal: reach 25 campuses by 2025. From 1981 to 2015, we established ministries on 11 campuses. So our aim was to more-than-double our reach at a pace much quicker than we were used to.

This past year marked the final push. And at the start of the fall semester, the horizon looked uncertain.

We were at 23 campuses, with a presence at three expansion schools. One of them was Lancaster Bible College, which we officially reached over the winter. But the other two campuses presented significant challenges. At one, we weren’t sure if any students would show up, as several had graduated and others had backed away; at the other, we weren’t sure if we’d even be allowed on campus, due to skepticism from the administration. It was clear that if we were going to reach our goal, the Lord would have to move the hearts of students and faculty. And that’s exactly what He did.

By God’s grace, through the faithful efforts of our pioneering staff and their teams, we reached both remaining campuses. We didn’t just make it to 25 campuses—God brought us to 26.

Praise God for reaching 25 campuses by 2025! It’s been a privilege and joy to be a part of this ten-year goal—and you’ve played a significant role in it!
