- Darleen Gero would like prayer that God would help her find a job as soon as possible.
- Please continue to pray for Marian Miller as she recovers from post-concussion syndrome. She’s having vestibular therapy and is so thankful that it’s helping in some ways. - Obed Calvaire would like prayer for his family can find a place of worship that they love and inspires them to be close to God.
- Please pray for Rebecca Goldstein and her team as they make a presentation to the FDA on June 3 for a new immunotherapy treatment for patients with prostate cancer. May God grant the team favor and approval, and ultimately use this therapy with great effect to improve the lives of people afflicted by this disease.

Our nation & those in authority.
1 Timothy 2: 1-2 First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, 2 for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.
- Tuesday, June 2nd is National Day of Prayer for Prodigal Children. Please take a moment to pray for all the parents with estranged children.
- Please pray for the those in authority in our nation.
- Continue to pray for First Choice. The U.S. Supreme Court issued a unanimous decision in its favor, allowing First Choice to argue in federal court that the Attorney General’s subpoena violates its constitutional rights. While this is a significant victory, the legal battle continues as the Attorney General seeks to enforce compliance in state court. Pray that this ruling will provide lasting protection for First Choice and strengthen protections for pregnancy resource centers across the nation.
Our Extended Family & Friends:
- David Bachman would like prayer for his son, Tim, is suffering with PTSD from his year of deployment in Jordan from 2018-2019, and we have learned that he has considered deliberately leaving this earth on two recent instances (Mother’s Day and Memorial Day). Please pray for him to receive healing with the connections that he has available.
- Connie Wilken would like to thank you all for continued prayers for her daughter, Sydney. She’s still struggling. Connie is seeing some breakthroughs and asking for more support and prayers. It’s been a long journey. Connie is asking for a revelation of Christ Jesus for both Sydney and wisdom for herself. Connie knows He’s working.
- Sue Turner’s mom, Ginni, has moved to a rehab facility and seems to be making slow but steady progress from her pelvis fracture . Please pray that the Lord would remove her fear which is common in many patients with dementia. She’s capable of more than she thinks, but the fear can be a barrier. God has been faithful in showing His mercies to us each day.
- Please pray for Bill Miller’s sister, Ellen, who has metastatic lung cancer with hot spots in other places. She started chemo but is already in a weakened condition due to pulmonary fibrosis & other health conditions. Please also pray for wisdom and grace for her daughter and husband who she lives with.
- Please pray for Bill Miller’s brother, Paul, as he’s been diagnosed with LEMS. The medication seems to be helping as he’s having a few good days rather than all bad days! Please pray for Paul and Nancy’s salvation.
- Please lift up Maria Mossucco as she approaches the sixth anniversary of the loss of her mother, Paula Mossucco. Pray for peace and comfort for Maria.
- Clara Bickel requested prayer about moving in June. She also requests prayer for a peaceful move for herself and her son. Additionally, she is seeking prayer for her two grandchildren to stay healthy.

- One of our attendees requests prayer for Megan Skirka. Megan is 25 and was just diagnosed with leukemia. Please pray for her.
- Don Knorr’s brother, Steve has been diagnosed with cancer of the pancreas and bile ducts. He will initially be undergoing chemotherapy that will probably be followed by surgery. Please pray for his physical healing and comfort in heart.
- Debbie & Randy Ruetsch’s daughter and son in law, Erin & Jon, who are adopting – Alissa and Shawn (ages 11 and 9) in Kansas. Please pray for God’s blessings on them as they begin this new journey and the challenges they will face as a family.
Missionary Partner for the week:
Bo and Michele Columbine with World Venture
Bo and Michele Columbine minister and share Christ to Muslim communities throughout Senegal, using venues like the vocational school where Bo trains auto mechanics and the community center where Michele teaches English to women. In addition, Bo lends much support to a growing radio broadcasting ministry by helping to establish new stations, by transporting equipment, and by securing airtime from the government for Christian programming. Please pray that the Holy Spirit will bring a harvest of new believers and strong discipleship through the recordings in Wolof of Old Testament books and the Gospels as they are broadcasts on the radio stations.
Some specific prayer requests from recent newsletters:
- Pray for divine appointments as Bo and Pastor Amet travel to villages with Arabic Bibles;
- Pray for the young man who is responsible for maintaining the six radio stations in Southern Senegal;
- Pray that the Christian school teacher in Northern Senegal would be encouraged and strengthened in his faith as he shares Christ in a region where there are no churches or Christian fellowships for over fifty miles;
- Pray for Badou, the first deaf student to attend Foyer Shama Auto and a strong believer in Christ;
- Pray for Sidity, a Muslim who was learning English at a World Venture church plant, as he explores Christianity.
At the end of June, the Columbines will be in the US for 7 months, based in Weymouth, MA. They are planning to participate in person at the MBC missions conference this October!
Finally, the Columbines are asking for prayers as they close up their house in Senegal for the past 15+ years and transition to a smaller apartment when they return to Senegal in February of 2027. They will need to put all their belongings into storage before coming to the United States in June.

Pray for our World:
Pastor Sentenced to Eight Years in Prison
A young pastor has been arrested and sentenced to eight years in prison for his ministry. Not long after this pastor had launched a church in Central Asia, local and secret police arrested him for simply conducting Christian ministry, actions considered by many Muslims to be offensive and even illegal in that region. “The young pastor has a wife and little children,” said a front-line worker. “Please pray that they will be encouraged and that this gospel worker’s faith and witness will be strong inside the prison.” Since the pastor began serving his sentence, the family has experienced hardship without a regular source of income. The front-line worker, with the help of the global body of Christ, is working to ensure that the pastor’s wife and children are cared for. “Pray that they will be strong during this time and that the sentence will be shortened,” the front-line worker added.
